52 Weeks To A Simplified Home: Week 42 Update

10 weeks left! I only have 10 more weeks left until I am done my 52 weeks To A Simplified Home Challenge.

I know however that I won’t be done with decluttering when I finish. My home is looking a whole lot better than when I started but this challenge has taught me that to keep it looking good I am going to have to keep decluttering regularly.

This week’s box took me a few minutes to figure out how to attack. It was full of random items that I finally decided belonged in 5 different categories.

There was garbage, recycling, papers to keep and shred (must buy that shredder), tools and random pieces of hardware that I am not sure if my husband wants or not.

The tools in the clear tote and the cardboard box full of the random pieces of hardware I will give to my husband later in the week for him to sort through. I will also let him take a peek at the garbage before I toss it as my computer loving son helped me sort through all the random cords I found–he told me most of them were useless on today’s electronics but I want to make sure the hubby agrees with that before I toss them.
