Do you have a teenage girl on your Christmas gift list, but no ideas on what to get her?

As a mother of a teenage daughter I can help you out. I asked my daughter to list five things that she or her friends would like for Christmas. Her list helped shape this article.

5 Inexpensive Gifts For Teenage Girls

1. Nail Polish & Accessories

Most teenage girls love experimenting with makeup and nail polish. I think that makeup can be tricky to buy for others, but nail polish and accessories are easier to buy and just as loved by girls in this age group.

Three great brands of nail polish included O.P.I, Sinful colors and Revlon. I have personally used all three and found each brand to be long wearing.

2.  Adult Coloring Books & Supplies

Adult coloring books are just as popular with teenagers as they are with adults. You can get her one filled with inspiring quotes, uplifting scripture, or even a calendar she could color and then use.

If it seems like she already has a tonne of coloring books, perhaps she would like a new set of coloring pencils, or this awesome pencil pouch that will keep all the supplies she needs for coloring sessions at her fingertips.

3. Gift Cards

Starbucks Frappuccinos are a hit with teenage girls. Trips to shop are another hit so a gift card to Starbucks or one of their favorite stores to shop is a great gift choice.

Psst…Check out this list of places where you can earn gift cards you can give as gifts fast!

4. Hair Accessories

If there is one thing I have learned having a teenage daughter of my own it is that hair ties evaporate into thin air–or at least it seems. Hair brushes do the same thing.

This makes hair accessories a great gift for a teenage girl. Whether it be a new hairbrush, a set of 100 colorful hair ties, or a set of one dozen headbands in various colors.

5. Cell Phone Accessories

Teenage girls love their phones, making accessories for them a great gift.

How about a selfie stick so that they can get fit all her friends in her selfies?

These PopSockets can be used in so many ways and can be put on and taken off a smartphone or tablet easily. The teenage girl on your list can use them to hold her earbuds right on her phone, take a selfie easier, or use it as a smartphone stand.

Please note all items listed were under $15 when this post was published, but prices could change at anytime.
