These Christmas gift ideas for runners are great for those just starting out and those like myself who have been running for years.

These gifts will help the runner in your life run no matter what time of day and what type of weather. There are other items on the list that will help them recover after those long runs, whether that be 6 miles or 100 (yep–there are races that long).

5 Inexpensive Gift Ideas For Runners

LED Slap Arm Band

Running addicts are known for getting up hours before the sun rises to run a few miles before work. Keep your runner safe with one of these LED Slap Arm Bands. There are 9 different colors and styles to choose from and it comes with an extra battery.

Printed Compression Socks

If the runner in your life likes to run long, they are going to love how much better their tired legs feel in a pair of  printed compression socks. The prints make them fashionable and the price is affordable!

Running Belt for Phone, Keys and Gels

Running gear generally doesn’t come with pockets big enough for smartphones, keys and other items runners like to carry on runs. A running belt that fits snug around the waist is a great fix for this problem. Please do not refer to this as a fanny pack–we runners are sensitive about that term.

High Density Foam Roller

After a long run it can feel awesome to roll out tight muscles with a high density foam roller.

Ear Warmer

If the runner on your Christmas list lives in a cooler climate they need a way to keep their ears warm and toasty–but it might be too hot for a winter hat still–the solution is an ear warmer headband.

And if your runner lives year round in a warm climate (lucky runner), then they might love one of these lightweight headbands to absorb sweat and keep their hair out of their eyes.
