Grow Where You’re Planted

My daughter eyed the beautiful blossoms on this tree and yelled out “Mommy look at the pretty flowers”.
When I saw it, I couldn’t help but think “how sad such a beautiful tree stuck behind a drive-thru sign” then I heard the words “grow where you’re planted” whispered to me.
What an awesome illustration of that concept this flowering tree is. It is overshadowed by a large square box, and yet even in the shadow of another, it blooms.
Whatever your hardship, whatever your circumstances, you and I too can “grow where we’re planted”, actually we can do more than “grow” we can “blossom”.

This is such an awesome message and indeed very true. The season we are planted in is only preparation for the next season so we should simply enjoy it and do the best we can. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
