Java Chip Frappe Without the Price Ouch

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASure signs of spring showed up in my area this week, and that means that warmer temperatures are returning. For me and my house that means means my daughter and I will be enjoying   DIY Java Chip Frappe recipe.

I love Starbucks  Java Chip Frappuccino but unfortunately my waistline doesn’t, and even using my tips to get Starbucks for less doesn’t spread far enough to cover  all our java chip  frappuccino urges

However, with the help of my blender and a bit of experimentation I have concocted a close second, with fewer calories (around 200 calories for a tall glass), and less of a price ouch.

How about you? Do you have a favorite blender drink you enjoy in the warmer temps. ?

  2. The minute I read “without the price” I had to check this out! I spend way to much money on ice coffee drinks (there’s a Starbucks inside my local Target, you get the idea, lol) Thanks for sharing! I came to visit you via Living Well Spending Less party!
