Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of Cascadian Farm's Multi Grain Squares you can use chex cereal too
  • 8 cups of popped air popped popping corn
  • 1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 12 tablespoons butter
  • 6 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Instructions
  • Mix together cereal and popcorn in a large microwave safe bowl and set aside.
  • Lightly grease two cookie sheets and set aside.
  • Mix together brown sugar butter and corn syrup in a small micro wave safe bowl
  • Place sugar mixture in microwave and cook on high for 1 minute
  • Take out and stir
  • Cook for another minute
  • Take out and stir
  • Repeat once more if necessary you need to stop cooking once the mixture is entirely melted and smooth
  • Stir in baking soda
  • Pour mixture on top of cereal and popcorn mix
  • Stir with wooden spoon.
  • Place in microwave 1 minute
  • Stir
  • Place in microwave another minute
  • Stir
  • Place in microwave one last minute
  • Stir
  • Dump mixture out onto two lightly greased cookie sheets and allow to cool.
  • Break up mixture and store in an air tight container
  • Great add ins are peanuts or M&M's add after mixture has cooled
