Caramel Crunch

1 box of Cascadian Farm's Multi Grain Squares you can use chex cereal too
8 cups of popped air popped popping corn
1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
12 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons corn syrup
1/2 tsp baking soda
Instructions
Mix together cereal and popcorn in a large microwave safe bowl and set aside.
Lightly grease two cookie sheets and set aside.
Mix together brown sugar butter and corn syrup in a small micro wave safe bowl
Place sugar mixture in microwave and cook on high for 1 minute
Take out and stir
Cook for another minute
Take out and stir
Repeat once more if necessary you need to stop cooking once the mixture is entirely melted and smooth
Stir in baking soda
Pour mixture on top of cereal and popcorn mix
Stir with wooden spoon.
Place in microwave 1 minute
Stir
Place in microwave another minute
Stir
Place in microwave one last minute
Stir
Dump mixture out onto two lightly greased cookie sheets and allow to cool.
Break up mixture and store in an air tight container
Great add ins are peanuts or M&M's add after mixture has cooled
