Instructions for making the peanut butter oat bars
Mix together the peanut butter and honey in a saucepan and place on medium low on the stove.
When the peanut butter and honey have completely melted together take the saucepan off the stove.
Stir in the oats
Place the mixture in an 8 by 8 pan that has been greased and lined with wax paper.
Use the back of a metal spoon to spread the mixture around the pan until you have an even bar.
Place in freezer for about 30 minutes to cool. (or you can leave it out to cool it will just take a bit longer)
Instructions For Making The Chocolate Topping
Put coconut oil into a microwavable glass bowl
Melt coconut oil
Quickly stir in cocoa powder, salt and maple syrup
Pour mixture over peanut butter oat bars and rock pan back and forth until it forms a consistent layer on top of the bars.
Place flat in freezer and allow chocolate to harden. (takes about 5 to 10 minutes)
