My daughter really has her heart set on making a gingerbread house this year. It has been years since we have made one. So many years in fact I don’t even know if she remembers making the last one. At first I must admit I tried to talk her out of it, but I can see she really wants to do this and I know she won’t want to in a few years time, so in the end I bought a kit that included everything we needed to make one together.I got ours at Aldi for under $10.
First though I spent a while cruising Pinterest for ideas and I thought I would share them with you in case you want to tackle a gingerbread house this year. Me, perhaps next year but for our first attempt after years of not doing one, we are sticking to a kit.
