When you grab yourself a copy of The Offering make sure to grab your tissues and prepare to have your head swimming with questions of ethics and what is right and wrong when things go horribly wrong.
I hugged each of my children tight after completing The Offering, almost a full 24 hours later my mind is still whirling with what I would have done if I had been in the mess the main character Amanda Linsanda found herself in.
Being a woman who had minimal problems conceiving three beautiful children naturally the topic of gestational carriers is not one I have really put much thought into. After reading The Offering, I now feel like I have seen and felt just a small part of the emotions involved from the angle of both the carrier and the parents.
I highly recommend The Offering to all readers looking for a thought provoking read.
