The first day Tales of The Defended Ones arrived in the mailbox for me to review, I sat down and read the first 4 of the 5 stories included, and the only reason I stopped was because I had a pressing appointment.
Beth Guckenberger has an incredible story telling talent that makes you unable to stop until every last word is read. Even though I have never met her, when I read her books I can hear her voice inside my head reading me the words.
After reading Tales of The Not Forgotten also by Gukenberger I let both of my older children read it. When they saw the new one in the mail both chimed in that they desired to read the second once I was done with it. They loved the way Guckenberger weaves a story as much as I do.
If you have pre-teen and older children in your home whom you desire to shape with a heart for the world’s poor and orphaned you need to purchase and read Tales of the Defended Ones.
I do not know how anyone could read this book and not take some type of action to help those in need, nor can I believe someone could read this book and deny their is a creator who is watching over us right now, weaving together our stories in ways that amaze and astound.
