I signed up to review A Big Year For Lily hoping it would be a good fit for my 10 year old daughter and I would have to say that yes it is indeed a good fit.
A Big Year For Lily contains 40 chapters that each are a short story on their own. I think this short story structure makes it a great read aloud book if you have younger children in your home who are not at this reading level yet.
A Big Year For Lily gives readers young and old a glimpse into the life of a 10 year old girl who is part of an Amish community.
Through the 40 chapters you will follow Lily and her friends and family through a year of adventures and mishaps. You will also discover that 10 year old girls struggle with pretty much the same emotions and behaviors whether they be Amish or not.

(I was given a copy of this book for purpose of review but opinions are 100% mine)
