Starting a blog is easy, growing a blog is tough. However, the job can be a lot easier when you have the right tools in hand. I find books and eBooks  are great low price tools to help you grow your blog.

Grow your blog in pageviews and profit with these 10 books.

10 Books That Will Help You Grow Your Blog

I have read each and every book and eBook on this list and found them helpful for growing my blog in either numbers or profit.

Blogging Strategies

1. Blogging For Profit Without Losing Your Soul

Blogging For Profit took me from wanting to give up on my blog to finally earning a part time income that eventually grew into a full time income. When I applied what I learned from it, I doubled my pageviews and my income in just 30 days.

2. Delicious Blogging: The Ingredients You Need To Create A Better Blog

I read Delicious Blogging several years into my blogging journey, but still found it helpful. If you are a beginner blogger, Delicious Blogging can help set your blog up right for growth from the very start.

3. The 15 Success Traits of Pro Bloggers: A Proven Roadmap to Becoming a Full-Time Blogger

The 15 Success Traits of Pro Bloggers provides not only a look at how other bloggers became successful, but gives you an outline for how you can reproduce their success and create a profitable blog of your own.

4. Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World

Micheal Hyatt, the author of Platform, runs a very successful blog and in Platform he gives you a behind-the-scenes look at what he believes to be the important “supports” of that platform and tips on how to create them for your own platform (blog).

5. iBloom in Business: Equipping You to Build a Successful Business while Living a Life You Love!

iBloom in Business takes you through an important series of questions that will help you create a clear focus for your blog as well as a clear direction for its future. When you have completed all the questions in iBloom in Business, you will have built the foundation on which to grow a successful blog.

6. 17 Strategies I Used To Go From 17K to 350K Pageviews in 9 Months

I recently read 17 Strategies and came up with a list of 23 new things I could do to increase readership of my blog. Yep, 23 things from a list of 17. Now some of the suggestions in the eBook were outdated, but the author is planning an update in the near future and all those who have purchase the book before get the update. Plus, as I said, even with tossing the outdated information aside I came up with 23 things I can try to increase my traffic.  (psst.. the only reason I haven’t tried them yet is I am on an RV trip of a life time and am trying to keep blog work to a minimum until I return home)

Blog Design

7. Blog Beautiful: 50+ Tips & Fixes To Make Your Blog Grow

Blog Beautiful is another eBook that I plan to go back to after our trip is over and start implementing the suggestions. If you want a blog that looks great, but you can’t afford a designer Blog Beautiful can help. It breaks down how to make design changes to your blog into simple to follow steps. I did manage to make one simple change suggested in between our exploring and I am already seeing an increase pageviews from it.

Networking

8. How to Talk to Anyone: 92 Little Tricks for Big Success in Relationships

Getting to know other bloggers is vital to blogging success. Blogging is so much simpler when you have blogging peers to help you with your blogging questions.  I don’t know about you, but the number one thing that keeps me from getting to know someone new is simple breaking the ice with that first conversation.

If the idea of starting conversations with strangers freaks you out too, How to Talk to Anyone can help. I will warn you–some of the language in it is a bit outdated and therefore seems kind of corny, but the tips on conversation starters within it are excellent.

Time Management

9. 21 Days To A More Disciplined Life

If you struggle with breaking down blogging tasks into simple, daily doable action steps, then I suggest reading 21 Days To A More Disciplined Life. When you apply what you learn in this eBook, you will be able to take a big blogging project like creating your first email subscriber freebie and break it down into small pieces that can fit into your daily life.

10. Time Management Mama: Making Use of the Margins to Pursue your Passions

Are you a mom of little ones trying to fit in time to blog around chasing toddlers and nursing babies? Time Management Mama will reassure you that you are not alone, plus give you examples of how others make it work and how you too can become a successful work at home mom.
