A sneek peek into the mail of a thrifty family

I thought you might like a peek at what deals arrive in our mailbox in an average week.

ebates gift card1. A $10 Gift Card From Ebates

I signed up for Ebates a while ago and shortly after signing up I got an email that said I needed to make a purchase by a certain date to qualify for the free $10 gift card deal. I had no idea that when I signed up it was during such a promotion so it was a nice surprise. I had to buy my son some shorts for church anyways so I shopped through Walmart.com for them and got myself a pair of biking shorts at the same time so I made the $50 order minimum (why did I wait so long to buy padded bike shorts oh my! they are so kind to your behind).  Less than 2 weeks later this $10 gift card to Walmart arrived.

I don’t know how often Ebates offers this deal but it sure was a nice surprise.

a life of miracles2. A Brand New Paperback book

I love getting brand spanking new books in the mail from Tyndale Rewards.  New members can easily earn a free book in under 15 minutes once they sign up.

thredup clothes3. New With Tag Clothes  At Clearance Prices

Midweek I got an order of new with tags clothing from ThredUP my favorite online consignment store. I have ordered several times from ThredUP and every item I have ordered has been new with tags. The selection of women’s and children’s clothing is amazing and they just added designer purses. paperbackswap book4. A New To Me Paperback Book

I have been reading through Lisa Wingate’s Tending Roses series with the help of Paperbackswap.com. I especially love using Paperbackswap.com  for thrifty  summertime reading , because I don’t have to worry about splashing pool water on it or getting it lost on a day trip, like I do with library books.

better homes5. Two Free Magazines

I know the title says two and you only see one in the photo but as I was writing up this post Family Circle arrived. I received both these magazines for free from offers found on Money Saving Mom.

Oh, and I also got my Joann Fabric flyer that has coupons that I love to use to save money on craft supplies, but I forgot to snap of picture of that. Not a single free sample which is unusual, oh well perhaps next week.

Did you get any thrifty mail this week?
