One for Sister, One for Me, and One for Teddy too!

This month I am giving away a set of 3 made by me  little girl purses.

Contest now Closed I will announce the winner soon!

This one is for big sister! This one is for little sister.

This one is for Teddy Bear (or Dolly perhaps)

These purses are made of 100% cotton and can be thrown into the washer and dryer.

(please note due to the tiny buttons I recommend these purses for children over 3 years)

These style of purses were favorites of my daughters when she was little, and she still continues to use her button flapped one today.

Funny story, but these purses are neither knitted nor crocheted but are of a completely invented by me stitch. I tried to learn off of you tube how to crochet and I thought I was single crocheting till an old lady looked at my purses for sale one day and said to me “these purses sure are sturdy but this isn’t crochet”.

So out of my failed attempt to follow  the instructions of a you tube video an extra sturdy purse making stitch was born. Some say its a slip stitch. Others argue that its not. But they all agree that the purses are super cute, and super sturdy!

I would love to win. Perfect for my nieces!

  2. I would love to know how you do your stitches. I crochet and knit both and love to learn new stitches to use. A very sturdy stitch would come in handy for me with some of my own projects.

I wish I could explain it, but..perhaps I should make it my first Vlogging post! LOL I can see the title now, “The Very Wrong, But Very Sturdy Stitch!” I can crochet now, although not as well as I knit, and I still really have to think about it so that I don’t slip back into this stitch I use for the purses.

  3. My daughter would love these for herself and her baby dolls. Thanks for the giveaway!
